FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK

HCS’ vision is to academically equip, Biblically ground, and spiritually nurture to impact the world for Christ. This past Friday, it was such a blessing to see our students and staff spread throughout our Region to do this very thing… impact the world for Christ! Whether your child was making lasagna, cleaning up a local park, restoring the old firehouse, or visiting with senior citizens, their impact was certainly felt. Currently, a part of our strategic plan is to increase the number of opportunities for students and families to serve our community. By serving others, students are able to see God’s story throughout our community and touch the lives of individuals that are in need of God’s love.

As my last ‘Blue Note message’ for the year, I want to thank you for your incredible partnership. God has placed each student and family at Highland Christian for a reason. Your child’s unique gifts and talents are on display every day and serve as an important part of our school community. Please continue to share with your child their uniqueness and help them learn and celebrate these gifts. James 1:17 states, “Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow”.
