SCHOOL NEWS

This Wednesday, March 20 is a late start day. School begins at 10:00.

Everyone is invited to our K-5 Spring Program, this Thursday, March 21 beginning with the K-2 performance at 6:00 p.m.

Below is the schedule for the program:

  • 5:40: K-2 students arrive
  • 6:00: K-2 performance
  • 6:25: 3-5 student arrive
  • 6:45: 3-5 performance
  • Students not performing will wait with their parents (Ex: A 5th grader has to wait in the audience before going to his/her class at 6:25)
  • Once the K-2 and 3-5 performances are finished, students will return to their classrooms where they will be picked up by their parents.

If you are attending the spring program, please check out the lost and found racks in the gym foyer. All items left after next week will be given to etc…Thrift Store.

Bring your creative talents to our next Saturday Serve on Saturday, March 23 at Highland Christian at 9am. Come ready to create some Easter cards – materials, patterns, and examples will be available. Then make a bouquet of spring flowers. We will deliver Easter cards and bouquets to senior neighbors/friends of Highland Christian.

TRIP NEWS

This is the last week to place TRIP orders for physical cards before Spring break!  TRIP orders (paper and online) are due this Thurs., Mar., 21st by 10 a.m.  TRIP will be accepting physical gift card orders on April 11, 18, 25, May 9 and 16.  Online ordering is available 24/7.  Contact Ann Lynch at [email protected] for more information.

Zandstra’s Greenhouse will be opening up for the season on Apr. 12th.  TRIP will again be selling Zandstra’s gift certificates beginning with this Thursday’s TRIP order.  Gift certificates will be $17 each and the bonus rebate for each certificate sold will be $3.  You may purchase Zandstra’s gift certificates through the weekly TRIP orders or you can contact Ann Lynch at [email protected] to purchase these certificates at other times.

This Week’s Current Bonus Rebates:  Aeropostale, Domino’s, Jimmy John’s, ACE Hardware and Jewel/Safeway.

TRIP Cash & Carry Gift Cards will be available for purchase next week.  Look in the March 25th Parent Note for a list of available gift cards to purchase.

Team C (Jamie Vander Meyden, Alexis Johnson, Annie Bouquet, Janell Eriks) will be putting the TRIP orders together on Tues., Mar. 19th.  Orders will be ready for pick up in the school office on Tuesday by 2:45 p.m.
