SCHOOL NEWS

Everyone is invited to our Easter Chapel this Thursday at 8:40 in the school gym.  Please join us as we rejoice in the finished work of our Savior! There is no school Good Friday, March 29.

This is the last week of school before spring break.  We pray that our families have a safe and restful spring break!  School will resume on April 8.

As a learning community, HCS deliberately seeks feedback from our stakeholders to celebrate great work and understand opportunities for future improvements. Each year, we ask for feedback on a number of teachers based on a rotation of departments. Thank you for taking the time to complete this short survey. This survey can be taken multiple times for different staff members through tomorrow, March 26. All responses will be kept confidential.

Strack & Van Til’s Apples for the Students program is almost done for 2024! The HCS Community has collected several thousand dollars worth of receipts so far.  Please turn in all receipts from Strack & VanTils and VanTils in Hammond to the office by Thursday, March 28th.  The school will count the value of the register tapes collected and redeem them for great educational awards that benefit your child. Thank you in advance for your participation!

Homemade vanilla is available in the office for all your holiday baking. Vanilla sells for $2.00 for an 8 oz bottle.

TRIP NEWS

No TRIP orders due this week.  TRIP will be accepting physical gift card orders on April 11, 18, 25, May 9 and 16.  Online ordering is available 24/7.  Contact Ann Lynch at [email protected] for more information.

Team D (Shelly Witham, Mary Brinks, Sherry Hiatt, Becca Trepton) will be putting the TRIP orders together on Tues., Mar. 26th.  Orders will be ready for pick up in the school office on Tuesday by 2:45 p.m.
