Officer Reyes

Eric Reyes of the Amtrak Police Department stopped by HCS to visit various classrooms with his K9 partner Mia. Mia is a four year old German Shorthaired Pointer who is trained in explosive detection. Officer Reyes and Mia work in Chicago at various transportation hubs and high traffic areas to help keep the public safe. Officer Reyes shared more about his police work, K9 training, and how Mia alerts to explosive components.
