Impact Week 2026

Here are summaries from Impact Week 2026:

5th grade: Went to Bethel Christian Reformed Church to make props and sets for their VBS!

3rd grade: Collected money to support Bible League International and learned how their donations will provide Bibles to people around the world. Students also created Phil’s Friends cards for those battling cancer and wrote encouraging notes to staff.

2nd grade: Made beautiful placemats to make an impact. The placemats will go to a retirement community to brighten up the dining area. They also wrote encouraging words on the back.

8th grade: Girls went to Fair Haven Rape and Crisis Center. Fair Haven provides faith-focused crisis response and counseling services to the victims of sexual violence and trauma.

A group went to Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church to clean and organize all the closets and windows. They were happy because it helped them prepare for a missionary conference they are having soon. They blessed us with prayers and fellowship.

A crew went to the Welcome House, and did gardening, pulling weeds, and helping one of the residents practice English.

A group supported Operation Christmas Child.

Mr. & Mrs. Ritzema’s group cleaned up the NWI bike trail and enjoyed cleaning up the path. Tons of garbage was cleaned up, $40 was found, they tried catching a bird, and catching a ride on a deer! It was an amazing morning with an amazing group of kids!

More groups included: Faith Highland, Hearts in Motion, Phil’s Friends, Sole Hope, Lasagna Love and Delectable Desserts, Innermission, Hammond Riverside Christian, Ross Reformed Church, Beacon Light, Salvation Army, and ETC.
