The all-school skating party is this Thursday, Feb. 15 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Lynwood Sports Center, 2030 Glenwood-Dyer Road, Lynwood, IL. Admission is $3.50 and skates are available for $3.00. 7th Grade Parents: It is time to start planning for our 8th grade trip to Philadelphia in May of 2025! Mrs. Groen is hosting an open house meeting about this trip this evening, Feb. 12 at 6:00p.m. in her classroom. The official presentation will be at 6:00 but you may come to school between 4:00 and 6:00 if you cannot make the presentation. The purpose of starting at this time of year is to spread out payments and fundraising as much as possible. This year, we will have 3 official fundraisers, our snack day on Wednesdays, parking on the 3rd and 4th of July, and a coffee fundraiser that we will have in May. Worldstrides is the company we use to plan the entire trip. Please reach out to Mrs. Groen with any questions as we are in the thick of planning for our trip in May as well and will have answers to your questions. We are looking forward to another year of planning for this 8th grade trip!
