“Girls on the Run inspires all girls to recognize their individual strengths, while building a sense of connection in a team setting.  Volunteer coaches facilitate lessons that blend physical activity with life skill development to enable girls to adapt to whatever comes their way.  At the end of the season, the team completes a 5K together, which provides a tangible sense of accomplishment and sets a confident mindset in motion.” -from the gotrofnwi.org   Any questions please contact Amber Powell 219-808-3138 or [email protected]

Fridays at Illiana!

If your student is wondering what going to Illiana looks like, is unsure about entering this new space, or wants to meet some friendly faces before attending Illiana, we recommend signing them up for a shadow visit!

What is Fridays at Illiana? Your child is paired up with an Illiana student-host. This student will greet you and be your “host” throughout the day. The visiting student will attend classes, meet teachers and students, have lunch (on us!) and go to a Chapel or a club meeting.

Fridays at Illiana is a great way to see what our school is all about. Your visit will include a full school day at Illiana from 7:40 am to 2:50 pm. You will get to see up close what the daily life of an Illiana student looks like.
