The Anxious Generation | Book Study

Sign up for book study.

In 2010, the first forward-facing camera was released to the general public. When this was coupled with the simultaneous explosion of social media platforms, our society was forever changed. Tied to the release of these two technological advances, the world has witnessed a rise in mental health and societal challenges – leading to increases in depression, anxiety, suicide, hopelessness, loneliness, hospitalizations for self-harm and addictions to pornography, social media, and gaming. Phones and social media are hurting our children and communities.

This fall, we are inviting you to join us in a book study of ‘The Anxious Generation’ by Jonathan Haidt. This compelling text outlines recommendations to parents, grandparents, educators, and communities about how we can support the health of our children and families.
