After School Tutoring
What: The after school Tutoring Center (TC) is a support to the academic growth of each unique learner. The student/teacher ratio is up to 1:5. If you would EVER use the TC during the year, please fill out the form below and return to any Homeroom Teacher. Additional copies are available in the school office.
When: Every full school day from 3:30-4:30 p.m. The TC is a ‘drop in’ service, to be used as needed. If no students arrive by 3:30, the teacher will leave.
Where: The TC will be held in room _____________ every full school day.
Who: Students using the center will receive tutoring from certified teachers.
How Much: The TC cost is $10 per day when used.
Suggestions for use
- Student struggling with particular content. i.e. electronic equations
- Family trauma or unusual periods of difficulty.
- Concept reinforcement needed for homework completion.
- Parental insecurity giving support in particular content area(s).
- Adolescent challenges that make objective input helpful in homework accountability.
- Desire for additional partnering with homework completion.
