The PTO Board Members seek to:
- … stimulate a closer relationship between parents, teachers and students.
- … encourage a better understanding of the school’s aims and goals
- … enhance the quality of education by raising funds for the school supplies and programs that fall outside school budget.
Tuition Reduction Incentive Program
The Tuition Reduction Incentive Program or T.R.I.P. is an easy way for you to earn credit toward your child’s tuition payments simply by purchasing gift cards or certificates to places you would normally shop. You may also use them as gifts. For more information contact the TRIP office at trip@highlandchristian.org .
Before and After Care (BAC)
NOW Serving students PreK-8th and Spot Service (drop in when you need it)
The Before and After Care (BAC) at HCS is a fun, comfortable and safe place for your child. Students using BAC will have the same behavioral expectations as they do during the school day. The After School Program will be staffed at a ratio of no more than 1:12. Students PreK-8th may use the BAC. Spot Service (come whenever you want), is also available.
Chapel
As part of our dedication to providing Christ-centered education at Highland Christian School, we have a time set aside each week to gather the junior high together to lift our praises to God, and invite pastors, youth pastors, and other speakers to come and encourage the students through a brief message. Every Thursday morning we gather in the gym and are led in worship through song, prayer, and teaching time in the word. In addition to daily Bible lessons and devotions, elementary students share in worship at chapel one time a month.
School Bell
The HCS School Bell is our publication sent out to parents multiple times a year through the mail. It provides school news, events, a look back at the previous months and what to look forward to.
